Representatives of foreign delegations are being welcomed at Samarkand International Airport to take part in the World Summit “Investing in Children’s Wellbeing: A Pathway to Sustainable and Equitable Development for Future Generations”, to be held on 21–22 October.
Among them are guests from the Republic of Serbia, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of El Salvador, as well as from international organisations and leading foreign universities.
The Summit, expected to bring together representatives of more than 100 countries, will become an important platform for sharing international experience in child rights protection, social protection, health, education and early development, discussing advanced approaches and strengthening practical cooperation.
Samarkand is uniting the world community around a common goal: creating a prosperous, safe and decent future for every child.
