All delegates and participants must ensure their passport is valid for at least six months beyond the intended period of stay. If required, please arrange your visa for entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan in advance.
Those who require a visa are advised to contact the nearest diplomatic mission of the Republic of Uzbekistan in their country of residence. Where no diplomatic mission is available, a visa may be obtained on arrival, provided a valid passport and a recent photo are uploaded during registration. Summit participants arrange their own travel to Samarkand and back.
We recommend planning your flights in advance and booking tickets in line with your chosen participation dates.
Protocol staff will be on hand at the international airports of Tashkent and Samarkand to assist participants on entry and departure.
Narcotic substances, firearms and ammunition may not be brought into the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Foreign currency may be taken out of the country without limit; however, cash exceeding 100 million soum (approximately USD 8,000) must be declared using Form T-6.
