Samarkand to Host the II International Congress on Childhood Oncology

Early diagnosis, modern treatment and international cooperation are key priorities in saving children’s lives.

The II International Congress on Childhood Oncology will be held as part of the World Summit on Investing in Children’s Wellbeing, taking place in Samarkand on 21–22 October.

This scientific and practical dialogue is aimed at bringing together advanced medical experience in the fight against childhood cancer, expanding diagnostic and treatment options and developing international cooperation.

The Congress’s priority areas are timely detection of disease, modern diagnostics, access to medicines, precision therapy, stem cell transplantation and cellular technologies.

Rehabilitation, palliative care, infection control and the long-term support of children will also be discussed.

The main focus is on the child’s health, quality of life and support for the family throughout the journey from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up care.

The Congress will be a platform for international specialists to exchange knowledge and experience, link scientific approaches with practice and discuss opportunities for future cooperation.

Every child should have access to quality medical care, compassion and the opportunity for a decent future.
